Summary: Providence Sacred Heart Medical Center and Children’s Hospital is recruiting for an ECMO coordinator to develop an ECMO program which will serve both adult and pediatric patients.
Qualifications: RN, RT or Perfusionist with ECMO experience. Previous coordinator experience preferred.
Description:
To develop and coordinate a new adult and pediatric ECMO program. This includes policy and procedure development, program development, coordination of education and ongoing monitoring, data collection, and quality assurance for the program. Will work closely with MDs, perfusionists, and key clinical nursing staff from both adult and pediatric medical, surgical, cardiac specialties to assure an integrated comprehensive program. Position will be full-time during program development and early stages of implementation, then reduce to 24 hrs/week (0.6 FTE)once the program is developed.
